I swear, @CoxHelp and Razorback football are gonna send me into an early grave. This is the 4th blackout I’ve had with Cox Cable in the last 2 weeks. And then they want me to pay $10 as insurance to have a tech come out so I won’t be charged $75.

@CoxHelp Mike, I know EXACTLY how the conversation will go. You will tell me the problem is with my router and direct me to the manufacturer. I will contact the manufacturer and they will direct me to once again reboot / reset the router.

Sure do love my @CoxComm internet where I pay for 150 MBPS and I get 8 regardless of device location in my house. 1/10 would recommend to no one. 1 for being the only provider. Apparently you can do whatever when you have a monopoly on service. My bad.

@JNitterauer @CoxComm The bad part is that Cox is forcing people to upgrade from their 300/30 plan to their 500/10 plan. Why? It saves them money on upsteam costs. It's nuts. 1/3rd the upload speed. I'm on Gigablast (940/35) only because I need the fast upload. The next plan down is 500/10.

Cancelling the TV portion of my cable service. I'm staying with @CoxCalifornia for my phone and internet, but find I'm watching less non-streaming stuff. Also, my complex offers us basic cable at no cost. I'll let you know how it effects me.

@CoxHelp My other son is getting 250 Mbps down by 50 Mbps up for $59.99 a month from @hotwireglobal Blows your plans away. But unfortunately you have a monopoly in Pensacola so you can be chincy, overpriced and offer bad service - your customers have no choice.
